Autumn Lily Encore Azalea is a moderate growing shrub that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 6A through 9B. It matures to an average height of 4 feet to 5 feet and an average width of 3 feet to 4 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun, morning sun with afternoon shade or morning shade with afternoon sun and grows best when planted in loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained. In the fall Autumn Lily Encore Azalea produces white flowers. The foliage is dark green in color. It attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and visual attention and is resistant to heat.
Autumn Lily Encore Azalea can be useful in the landscape along woodland borders, in mass plantings, in foundation plantings, as a background, in landscape beds or islands, in small groupings or as a hedge and also in cottage gardens.
Noteworthy Characteristics
One of the newest introductions to the Encore Azalea family, robust and upright with deep green foliage, Autumn Lily produces white blooms with occasional single purple stripes. Its strong growth and profuse blooms make Autumn Lily perfect for mass and foundation plantings. Preliminary university trials have shown it to be one of the most cold hardy varieties of the Encore Azalea line. USDA Zones 6A to 9B.
Uses
With a height of 4.5 feet and spread of 4 feet, Autumn Lily is useful in foundation plantings, in small or large groupings in landscape beds, as an informal colorful hedge, or singularly in containers.
Culture & Care
Encore Azaleas prefer a an acid soil that contains plenty of organic matter and is well-drained. Encores will tolerate all-day full sun however will also tolerate some shade. Too much shade and flowering will be diminished. 5 hours or more of direct sun per day is recommended. A light pruning and feeding after the first bloom phase can help stimulate new growth and encourage heavier bud development.

The Autumn Lily Encore Azaleas arrived in great condition. It's early November here in east TN, and they are still blooming. We've ordered about 15, and haven't lost a one. Will definitely be ordering again.
Am anxiously waiting to see if these Autumn Lily plants are truly evergreen. The leaves are really different (kind of fuzzy) from azaleas that I've had before and it's hard to believe that they will actually thrive in full sun. All 4 plants arrived in excellent health and I'm hopeful that they will soon be blooming again, as advertised.
