30 Day Returns - Buy Plants Online

We want to put your mind at ease about ordering online, especially live plants! That is why, at Gardener Direct, we give you 30 days to return the plant if anything goes wrong.

We care about your satisfaction and stand behind every plant we sell. We ship only high-quality, healthy plants. If there is any damage during shipping or the plants do not meet your standard of quality, and you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to our offices within 30 days of the shipment date for a full refund or exchange of the Plant costs. In some cases shipping costs may not be covered.


Shipping Damages

1. All items damaged during shipping must be reported to our shipping department within 48 hours of the delivery date. Please call Customer Service at
770-573-1778 and a representative will confirm the correct return address.

2. Gardner Direct reserves the right to request that the plant or product be returned before issuing a replacement. If the damage to a product is a missing or broken part a replacement will be sent if possible. If no part is available a replacement product will  be sent.


Return Procedures For Plants:

1. If you would like to return or exchange a plant(s), please contact our Customer Service department by phone at 770-573-1778 before doing so. One of our representatives will determine whether or not you need to return the plant to receive a refund or exchange. In cases where a plant was damaged during shipping, a photo of damaged plants is often accepted.

2. Packaging Your Return (if applicable). Include plant(s), a copy of purchase documents (receipt), a photo of the plant(s) when they arrived at your location, and the original packing materials.

3. Ship It (if applicable).If shipped on our account a return shipping ticket will be sent by us via email. Just print and tape it to the box and take it to the nearest Fedex Package (Not Envelope) dropoff location. 


Return Policy Terms & Conditions

When the returned plant(s) is received, it will be inspected by our quality control department. Once your return has been accepted, all refunds will be processed within five business days and done in the form of the original purchase method. Bank wires are refunded via company check. Your refund will not include shipping and handling charges.

Items sent to our office without having first contacted our Customer Service department, or packages received beyond the 30-day return period, will be refused receipt.

We are not responsible for loss or damage while the plant(s) is in transit to us. 

In some cases, a 6% finance fee will be charged for all refund amounts to compensate for our incurred bank expenses



Gardener Direct will do its best to honor cancellation requests as soon as possible however does reserve the right to bill charges it incurs according to the status of the order. If item has been billed then a fee of 6% of the refunded amount will be charged. If the item(s) have been shipped and billed all shipping fees(to and from destination) and 6% of the refunded amount is applicable.


Warranties on Products

In cases of manufacturer defect on products that Gardener Direct sells, the manufacturers warranty policy that comes with the item or listed on that items product page will be the policy that applies to that product. In cases where Gardener Direct submits the warranty claim to the manufacturer refunds and/or replacements will be issued when the manufacturer approves the submitted warranty paperwork.
