Returns

At GardenerDirect.com your satisfaction is of the utmost importance. We know ordering live plants online can be scary, that is why we offer a 30 day return policy.

GardenerDirect.com only sells the highest quality live plants and gardening supplies and puts time and care into the shipping of each order. If your plants happened to get damaged during shipping or you are not fully satisfied with your order you may return it within 30 days of the ship date for a full refund or exchange. Shipping costs may not be covered in some cases.

 

Damage

GardenerDirect.com cares about your plants; it is our mission to get your plants at your door safely and in good condition, using the best packing and shipping methods available.

If damage does occur it must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. A photo of the damaged plant may be required. We will assess the problem and determine if your plant is salvageable, if is not rest assured we will send a replacement plant right away. In some cases GardenerDirect.com may require the damaged product be returned before a replacement is sent.

Even if your plant/and or box was minority damaged and you think you can salvage it please still contact us right away! We will not the problem for future reference in case you encounter any further complications in the future. GardenerDirect.com stands behind every plant we sell, so if your plant perishes within 30 days of receiving it please contact us right away for 100% store credit.

Returns:

If you want to return or exchange a plant you must contact us right away so we can determine if your return or exchange is possible as plants are nursery grade and perishable. In some cases a restocking fee may be charged if plants are return in live condition. A photo of the plant that is being returned may be requested. If your return/exchange is accepted please follow the packing steps below:

Packaging Your Return

Place plant(s) to be returned in the original packing material along with a copy of your receipt and a photo of the plant when it arrived.

GardenerDirect.com will send you a return shipping ticket via email. Simply print the ticket, tape it to the box and take the box to your local Fedex package drop-off.

 

Return Policy Terms & Conditions

Once your return has been received and it has been accepted your refund will be processed within 5 business days and credit back in the original payment method. GardenerDirect.com does not refund shipping and handling charges. If you returned your plant past the 30 day return period or without contacting GardenerDirect.com beforehand your return will refused receipt

GardenerDirect.com is not responsible for loss or damage while plants are in transit to us. In some cases GardenerDirect.com may charge a 6% finance fee for refund amounts to compensate for incurred expenses.

 

Cancellations

At GardenerDirect.com we pride ourselves in fast shipping, so canceling an order must be done immediately by contacting us. We will do our best to cancel your order however a cancellation fee may be applied to items that are in the process of being packaged and shipped. If the item has been billed a 6% of the refund amount will be charged. If item has been billed and shipped then all shipping fees and 6% of the refunded amount will be applied.

 

Warranties

In cases of manufacturer defect the manufacturer’s warranty policy that comes with the item or listed on that items product page will be the policy applied. If GardenerDirect.com submits the warranty claim to the manufacturer refunds and/or replacements will be issued when the manufacturer approves the warranty paperwork.
