Eucalyptus Parvula 'Funky Monkey' is a fast growing tree that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 7A through 11. It matures to an average height of 20 feet to 30 feet and an average width of 20 feet to 30 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun, morning sun with afternoon shade or morning shade with afternoon sun and grows best when planted in sand, loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained. In the summer Eucalyptus 'Funky Monkey' produces white flowers. The foliage is light green and medium green in color. It attracts wildlife and visual attention and is resistant to deer, drought, insects, diseases and heat.
Eucalyptus 'Funky Monkey' can be useful in the landscape along woodland borders, in mass plantings, as a buffer or screen, in containers or planters, as a border or edger, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, in hanging baskets, to provide shade or in landscape beds or islands and also in rock or xeriscape gardens, theme gardens, perennial gardens or shade gardens.
