Dazzleberry Sedum is a fast growing groundcover plant, perennial plant and succulent plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 3A through 9B. It matures to an average height of 1 inch to 1 foot and an average width of 1 foot to 2 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun or morning shade with afternoon sun and grows best when planted in sand, loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained. In the summer and fall Dazzleberry Sedum produces pink flowers. The foliage is blue green in color. It attracts butterflies and visual attention and is resistant to deer, drought, insects, mildew and heat.
Dazzleberry Sedum can be useful in the landscape in mass plantings, in containers or planters, as a border or edger, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, as an accent, as a groundcover, in landscape beds or islands or in small groupings and also in rock or xeriscape gardens, theme gardens, cottage gardens, butterfly gardens or perennial gardens.
SunSparkler® Sedum 'Dazzleberry' is a colorful new groundcover Sedum sports giant 8″ raspberry flowerheads above pearl-blue foliage which changes colors and intensifies throughout the growing season.
Easily grown in average, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Tolerates some light shade. Likes sandy or gravelly soils. Needs good soil drainage to perform well. Drought tolerant. Avoid overwatering.
Sunsparkler Dazzleberry Sedum is excellent as a groundcover or border in the rock garden or in any sunny landscape beds, banks or slopes, and in containers. Most outstanding when planted in groups.
