Additional Information About Hemerocallis Happy Returns Daylily

Happy Returns Daylilly is a fast growing perennial plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 3A through 9B. It matures to an average height of 1 foot to 2 feet and an average width of 1 foot to 2 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun or morning shade with afternoon sun and grows best when planted in loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained. In the spring and summer Happy Returns Daylilly produces bright yellow flowers. It attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and visual attention and is resistant to drought and heat.

Happy Returns Daylilly can be useful in the landscape in mass plantings, in containers or planters, as a border or edger, as a background, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, as an accent, as a groundcover, in landscape beds or islands, for erosion control or to accentuate entryways and also in perennial gardens.

More About Happy Returns Daylily...

Happy Returns is a daylily that distinguishes itself with its profuse and repeat bloom and compact size (only 16 inches tall), making it good for both containers and the borders. It is an early season bloomer with pretty lemon-yellow flowers that open in late afternoon and last through the night.
