Yellow Ribbon - Arborvitae is a moderate growing cone bearing plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 3A through 7B. It matures to an average height of 8 feet to 10 feet and an average width of 2 feet to 3 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun, morning sun with afternoon shade or morning shade with afternoon sun and grows best when planted in sand, clay or silt soil that is well drained. The foliage is yellow and chartreuse in color. It attracts wildlife and songbirds / birds and is resistant to deer, drought, diseases and heat.
Yellow Ribbon - Arborvitae can be useful in the landscape as a border or edger, as a background or to accentuate entryways and also in cottage gardens, perennial gardens or shade gardens.
The six yellow ribbon arborvitae Are very nice. They are all alive and doing well. I thought they might have been a little taller, but they got a little bent over when they arrived in their boxes. They were packed in their boxes extremely well. Water and sunlight, the tops are returning to their vertical positions, and they are already growing. Well done.
