Golden Zebra Foamy Bells is a moderate growing perennial plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 4A through 9B. It matures to an average height of 1 inch to 1 foot and an average width of 1 foot to 2 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides shade, morning sun with afternoon shade or filtered sun and grows best when planted in loam soil that is well drained. In the spring Golden Zebra Foamy Bells produces white flowers. The foliage is yellow, chartreuse, burgundy and red in color. It attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and visual attention and is resistant to deer and heat.
Golden Zebra Foamy Bells can be useful in the landscape along woodland borders, in mass plantings, in containers or planters, under a shade tree, in hanging baskets, in landscape beds or islands, in small groupings or in annual flower beds and also in cottage gardens, butterfly gardens, hummingbird gardens, perennial gardens or shade gardens.
