Agastache 'Coronado' is a fast growing perennial plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 6A through 8B. It matures to an average height of 1 foot to 2 feet and an average width of 1 foot to 2 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun, morning shade with afternoon sun or filtered sun and grows best when planted in sand or silt soil that is well drained or moderately drained. In the spring, summer and fall Agastache 'Coronado' produces orange and light yellow flowers. The foliage is medium green in color. It attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and visual attention and is resistant to drought and heat.
Agastache 'Coronado' can be useful in the landscape in containers or planters, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, as an accent, in landscape beds or islands, to accentuate entryways or in small groupings and also in cottage gardens, butterfly gardens, hummingbird gardens or perennial gardens.
Great plant for attracting hummingbirds, they love it! Looks great in the garden!
