Red Velvet is a perennial with large, banana-like foliage. The leaves are olive green with a lovely maroon flush. The strong erect flower stems bear large, bright red flowers through summer and into fall. Red Velvet Canna Lily is the perfect selection when a tropical-look is desired, or to incorporate contrast of foliage and color into the landscape.
