More about Firecracker Plant...

A native of Mexico, also know as Coral Fountain, the Firecracker Plant, Russelia equisetiformis, produces arching, thin wiry-like foliage that beomes covered in scarlet to coral tubular flowers, resembling a firecracker, from spring through fall. Much like a fountain this plant is great for producing movement in the garden or in containers.

Uses

Where hardy outdoors, Frecracker Plant is useful as a colorful accent or specimen shrub or in groupings in beds or borders, as a hedge, for spilling over walls, and makes a great container plant or hanging basket. Where not winter hardy, it can be used outdoors as an annual in beds or as a container plant that can be overwintered indoors or in a greenhouse when low temperatures drop below 45 degrees.
