Noteworthy Characteristics
One of the newer varieties, Magnificent Croton is an evergreen tropical shrub that has very striking large leaves of yellow and green that mature to shades of red and orange.
Uses
Where hardy outdoors, Magnificent Croton is useful as a colorful accent or specimen shrub or filler in beds or borders, as a hedge, or in containers. Where not winter hardy, it can be used outdoors as an annual in beds or as a container plant that can be overwintered indoors or in a greenhouse when low temperatures drop below 55 degrees. It can also be grown as a year round houseplant indoors.
