More about Lady Mary Baring Bougainvillea...

Noteworthy Characteristics

Lady Mary Baring is a hybrid Bougainvillea that is a cross of Bougainvillea glabra and Bougainvillea peruviana. It is a vigorous vine that can scramble and attain heights of 35 to 40 feet, but when grown as a container plant it will usually only reach about 8 to 10 feet in height. It produces colorful golden-yellow bracts that surround the tiny creamy colored blooms.

Uses

Where hardy outdoors, Lady Mary Baring Bougainvillea is useful to cover arbors, pergolas, fences, and other structures, or in containers. Where not winter hardy, it can be used outdoors as an annual in the landscape or as a container plant that can be overwintered indoors or in a greenhouse when low temperatures drop below 55 degrees.
