Noteworthy Characteristics
Indian hawthorn is a compact, broadleaf evergreen shrub. Alba produces clusters of fragrant white flowers intermittently throughout the spring season. The large leathery, glossy, dark green leaves are attractive year-round.
Uses
Excellent for use in smaller groupings, flowering shrub borders, natural hedge, home foundation plantings, wildlife gardens, asian theme gardens, and just about anywhere in the garden that gets full or mostly sun.
Culture & Care Tips
Prefers full to mostly sun. Morning shade with afternoon sun will work. Low to average water needs. Performs well in most soils.
