Noteworthy Characteristics
Gold Star Juniper has dazzling gold colored foliage with bright green foliage underneath in the summer. In winter the arching branches darken to blue-green. Grows in full sun or part shade although it has its best color in full sun. Matures at 2-3' HT and 5-6' W
Uses
Excellent for use in groupings, shrub borders, a natural hedge, mass plantings, erosion control on slopes and embankments, or as a medium sized accent.
Culture & Care Tips
Gold Star Juniper is very easy to grow and is very low maintenance; requiring no pruning unless to maintain shape. It adapts to a wide variety of soils provided they are well-drained. It prefers full sun to mostly sun.
