Additional Information About Sugar Plum Heuchera

Sugar Plum Heuchera is a moderate growing perennial plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 4A through 9B. It matures to an average height of 1 inch to 1 foot and an average width of 1 foot to 2 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides shade, morning sun with afternoon shade or filtered sun and grows best when planted in sand, loam or silt soil that is well drained. In the spring Sugar Plum Heuchera produces pink flowers. The foliage is purple, grey / silver and dark green in color. It attracts visual attention and is resistant to deer, drought, insects, diseases and heat.

Sugar Plum Heuchera can be useful in the landscape along woodland borders, in mass plantings, in containers or planters, as a border or edger, as an accent, under a shade tree, in landscape beds or islands or in small groupings and also in theme gardens, perennial gardens or shade gardens.

More About Sugar Plum Heuchera...

Sugar Plum Heuchera produces a large mound of frosty plum-purple leaves in spring that turn to silver in summer, which look like they aren't real! Sprays of silvery pink bell flowers on tall, thin stems appear in spring, held high above the foliage and repeat in summer. Excellent in garden beds and container gardens.
