Additional Information About Sunsparkler Lime Zinger Stonecrop

Lime Zinger Sedum is a fast growing groundcover plant, perennial plant and succulent plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 4A through 9B. It matures to an average height of 1 inch to 1 foot and an average width of 1 foot to 2 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun or morning shade with afternoon sun and grows best when planted in sand, loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained. In the summer and fall Lime Zinger Sedum produces pink flowers. The foliage is red and medium green in color. It attracts butterflies and visual attention and is resistant to deer, drought, insects, diseases, mildew and heat.

Lime Zinger Sedum can be useful in the landscape in mass plantings, in containers or planters, as a border or edger, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, as an accent, as a groundcover, in landscape beds or islands or in small groupings and also in rock or xeriscape gardens, theme gardens, cottage gardens, butterfly gardens or perennial gardens.

More About Sunsparkle Lime Zinger Sedum...

SunSparkler® Sedum 'Lime Zinger' was chosen from a field of 3,000 seedlings based on its bright lime-green foliage which is surrounded by a cherry-red picotee edge. Its compact 4″ tall x 18″ wide growth habit makes it a superb new groundcover Sedum!

Easily grown in average, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Tolerates some light shade. Likes sandy or gravelly soils. Needs good soil drainage to perform well. Drought tolerant. Avoid overwatering.

Sunsparkler Lime Zinger Sedum is excellent as a groundcover or border in the rock garden or in any sunny landscape beds, banks or slopes, and in containers. Most outstanding when planted in groups.
