Southgate Brandi Rhododendron is a moderate growing shrub that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 6A through 9B. It matures to an average height of 3 feet to 4 feet and an average width of 3 feet to 4 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides morning sun with afternoon shade or filtered sun and grows best when planted in loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained. In the spring Southgate Brandi Rhododendron produces pink flowers. The foliage is dark green in color. It attracts butterflies and visual attention and is resistant to heat.
Southgate Brandi Rhododendron can be useful in the landscape along woodland borders, in mass plantings, in foundation plantings, in containers or planters, as a background, in shrub borders, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, as an accent, under a shade tree or in landscape beds or islands and also in theme gardens, cottage gardens or shade gardens.
Noteworthy Characteristics
This exciting heat tolerant Southgate Rhododendron thrives in the Deep South as well as other traditional Rhododendron areas. In addition to being a very sturdy and hardy shrub that can tolerate the extremes of the South, Brandi Rhododendron produces abundant clusters of large ruffled deep pink to pink blooms. The large blooms appear as the spring temperatures warm. Very lustrous medium to dark green leaves are another feature of this amazing shrub that fits perfectly in to any woodland garden or any other area of the landscape that gets dappled to part shade. The Southgate Rhododendron are very disease, fungus and insect tolerant...no wonder the Southgate series of Rhodendron are becoming a staple addition to the Southern Garden.
Uses
Rhododenrons are great for use as single specimens or in small to large groupings, flowering shrub borders, shrub borders, shaded home foundation plantings. They do especially well on fertile slopes.

Decided to get some Rhododendron because they are my wife's favorite. It arrived just as described and she is very happy and i am happy too because of the good price. Thanks for making a couple of gardeners happy.
Always loved Rhododendrons so when i finally broke down and decided to try my hand at planting i was nervous especially with ordering it online (my local nursery didn't have any). But it arrived at my door just perfect and ready to plant. I am happy to say it is doing splendid and looking just as i always imagined! Thank you!
I was looking for something to give my yard some color so i planted these and was very happy with the results, they have been growing great and made such an improvement to my yard.
