It prefers growing in a location that provides shade, morning sun with afternoon shade or filtered sun and grows best when planted in loam or silt soil that is well drained. In the summer Queen Of The Seas Hosta produces white flowers. The foliage is blue green in color. It attracts hummingbirds and visual attention and is resistant to drought and heat.
