Kniphofia Uvaria 'Echo Rojo' is a moderate growing perennial plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 6A through 9B. It matures to an average height of 4 feet to 5 feet and an average width of 3 feet to 4 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun and grows best when planted in sand, loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained. In the spring and summer Echo Rojo Torch Lily produces orange and red flowers. The foliage is grey / silver and dark green in color. It attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, wildlife and visual attention and is resistant to deer, drought, insects, diseases, mildew and heat.

Echo Rojo Torch Lily can be useful in the landscape in mass plantings, in foundation plantings, in containers or planters, as a border or edger, as a background, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, as an accent, as a focal point, in landscape beds or islands or in small groupings and also in rock or xeriscape gardens, cottage gardens, butterfly gardens or perennial gardens.
