Noteworthy Characteristics
We've been growing this one for several years and it is almost unbelievable that the Murray Cypress grows faster than the original Leyland Cypress, which averages as much as four feet a year. It is more disease-resistant, will tolerate wetter soil and has a stronger root system.

Culture
Murray Cypress prefers full sun to light shade and a moist well drained soil of average fertility but is exceptionally drought tolerant after the first couple season when established. After that there's no maintenance!
