More about Pink Perfection Camellia...

Noteworthy Characteristics

A true heritage plant and favorite of Southern gardeners, Pink Perfect is perhaps the most well-known camellia available. This camellia has gorgeous, perfect, fully double, pink flowers in late winter and spring.

Uses

Pink Perfection is a mid-size to large camellia that is useful to create colorful, evergreen hedges or screens. It can also be "limbed up" to form an attractive, small, evergreen tree that can be useful as a focal point specimen. It is perfect for use as espalier: trained to grow flat against a large, open wall.

Culture

Camellias prefer a fertile, moist but well-drained, acidic soil. Constantly soggy soil is a slow killer. Your new camellia should not need regular watering after the first year unless there are extended periods of dry weather during summer. Camellias do best in partial shade or filtered sun. Avoid afternoon direct sun
