Malus Domestica 'Gala' is a moderate growing tree that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 6A through 9B. It matures to an average height of 10 feet to 15 feet and an average width of 8 feet to 10 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. The foliage is light green, medium green and dark green in color. It attracts visual attention and songbirds / birds and is resistant to drought. If you like fragrance, Malus Domestica 'Gala' has fragrant foliage.

Royal Gala Apple Tree can be useful in the landscape around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, under a shade tree, in landscape beds or islands, in medians or as a street tree and also in shade gardens.
