Punica Granatum 'Wonderful' is a fast and moderate growing shrub, tree and fruit bearing plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 6B through 10B. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun and grows best when planted in sand, loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained. It attracts hummingbirds and visual attention and is resistant to deer, drought, insects, diseases and heat.
Wonderful Pomegranate can be useful in the landscape along woodland borders, in containers or planters, as a background, in shrub borders, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, in landscape beds or islands, grown flat against a wall, in small groupings or as a tree form shrub and also in cottage gardens.
Wonderful is a variety of pomegranate tree known for it's cold-tolerance and producing high-quality fruit. Discovered in Florida in 1896, Wonderful is still the most popular variety of pomegranate on the market. The seeds are small and juicy, perfect for juicing or eating. They grow naturally in the form of a bush or, with pruning, as a small tree. Wonderful has eye-catching bright reddish-orange flowers and produces red fruit in September and October. Mature trees are 8 to 12 feet in height. Wonderful pomegranate trees are self-fertilizing, so one tree is all you need to produce these mouth-watering fruits! Hardy in USDA Zones 6B-10B.
NOTE: In zones north of 8A, we recommend providing some protection in the form of a thick layer of mulch, or wrapping plants with a protective cover, during abnormally cold periods when temperatures drop below 10 degrees F. Also, locating your pomegranate on the south or east side of a structure will provide protection against west and north winter winds.

My plants arrived in wonderful condition, the packing was great and plants looked well cared for. In the past i have ordered plants from other online companies but it was all bareroot. The ones i got from you were in a container, soil and all looking like it had just came from my local nursery! Very pleased!
Thank you for the beautiful plants, was worried they would be damaged in the shipping but they got here just fine! Will order from you again!
