Snow-n-Summer™ Asiatic Jasmine is an adaptable evergreen groundcover with fine texture and pink and white new foliage, shading to green summer color. Blooms are minimal in this plant usually only appearing when it climbs. Emerging new growth is pleasingly variegated and colors range from soft to medium pink, white, dappled green and white, and copper. Later in the season, varying shades of green develop. Heat and cold hardy for a variegated Asiatic jasmine and shows great adaptability.
Snow N Summer Jasmine is cold hardy to 0-10° F. (Zones 7a – 9b). The best foliage color is produced in partial sun to bright, dappled shade. Heavily shaded growing conditions will reduce the intensity of the foliage variegation. The colors intensify throughout summer and persist into the winter months. It has a wide tolerance of soil types and moisture levels and prefers a soil pH of 5.5-6.5. Well-drained mosit soil is preferred.
Snow N Summer Asian Jasmine is a dense, fast growing, trailing groundcover plant we like to use in large areas, such as under large shade trees. It simply spreads too much and is too difficult to contain in small or narrow spaces. That being said, it can be useful in container gardens where it will spill over the edge of pots. With support it can be used as a climber.
