Origanum Vulgare 'Variegata' is a moderate growing herb and perennial plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 4A through 10B. It matures to an average height of 1 foot to 2 feet and an average width of 1 foot to 2 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun and grows best when planted in sand or loam soil that is well drained. In the summer Variegated Greek Oregano produces cream, white and light pink flowers. The foliage is white and dark green in color. It attracts butterflies, wildlife and visual attention and is resistant to deer, insects, diseases, mildew and heat. If you like fragrance, Origanum Vulgare 'Variegata' has fragrant foliage.

Variegated Greek Oregano can be useful in the landscape in mass plantings, in containers or planters, as a border or edger, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, as a groundcover or in small groupings and also in cottage gardens or herb gardens.
