Charmed Wine Oxalis is a moderate growing groundcover plant, annual bedding and perennial plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 8A through 9B. It matures to an average height of 1 foot to 2 feet and an average width of 1 foot to 2 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides morning sun with afternoon shade or filtered sun and grows best when planted in loam or silt soil that is well drained. In the spring, summer and fall Charmed Wine Oxalis produces white flowers. The foliage is purple in color.
Charmed Wine Oxalis can be useful in the landscape along woodland borders, in mass plantings, in containers or planters, as a border or edger, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, under a shade tree, as a groundcover, in hanging baskets, in small groupings or in annual flower beds and also in theme gardens, cottage gardens, butterfly gardens, perennial gardens or shade gardens.
