Raspberry Surprise Dianthus is a moderate growing perennial plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 5A through 9B. It matures to an average height of 1 foot to 2 feet and an average width of 1 foot to 2 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. In the spring Raspberry Surprise Dianthus produces pink, red, white, light pink, soft pink and burgundy flowers. The foliage is light green and medium green in color. It attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and songbirds / birds and is resistant to deer, drought, diseases and heat.
