Coriaceum Ligustrum is a compact slow growing shrub that features unique, rounded, dark green, very curly, evergreen leaves that are densely packed on upright stems. Creamy white fragrant flowers bloom in spring and put on a spectacular show. Flowers give way to rounded black berry like drupes which will ripen in in fall and persist into winter. Uses
Single specimen, flowering shrub borders, small treeform speciman, home foundation plantings, espalier (grown flat against a wall), container gardens, butterfly gardens, entryways, and asian theme gardens.
Culture & Care Tips
Grows well in average, dry to medium, well-drained soild in full sun to part shade. Avoid wet soils. Prune in Spring immediately after flowering. If folwering is not a consideration prune at any time.
