Noteworthy Characteristics
Limeglow Andorra Compacta Juniper is one of our favorites among the low-growing, spreading Juniper groundcovers. Golden Andorra is one of the few groundcover Juniper that displays bright yellow foliage throughout the growing season. In the cooler months of winter the foliage turns to a deep beautiful maroon.
Uses
Limeglow Andorra is an excellent choice as a border in landscape beds and islands and for erosion control on gradual slopes and embankments. It's also a great selection for underplanting small trees such as Japanese Maple and Crape Myrtle. With it's bright yellow foliage Golden Andorra provides a beautiful color contrast of foliage.
Culture & Care Tips
As with most Junipers, Golden Adorra requires full sun for optimum performance. This being said, a few hours of shade will be tolerated. Well drained soil is preferred. Avoid planting in areas that retain water. Golden Andorra is noted for its drought resistence and use in xeriscaping.
