Noteworthy Characteristics
A heat tolerant Southern Indica Azalea Hybrid, the Duc De Rohan evergreen Azalea displays showy clusters of salmon-pink flowers in spring. The salmon colored flowers with a rose pink central blotch sit atop the handsome narrow dark green leaves.
Uses
Excellent for use as a single specimen, in groupings, flowering shrub borders, mass plantings, home foundation plantings, container gardens, asian theme gardens, cottage gardens, woodland gardens, and just about anywhere in the shade or part sun garden.
Culture & Care Tips
Azaleas prefer a well draining, moist and acidic soil rich in organic matter. As one of the Southern Indica Azaleas, Duc De Rohan will tolerate sun to part shade. That being said, some dappled sun or shade during the hottest part of summer afternoons would be appreciated.
