Noteworthy Characteristics
Andorra Compacta Juniper is noted for its wonderful lower arching blue green foliage that changes to a nice plum color during the colder winter months. You can't go wrong with a groundcover that provides year round beauty and interest. The Andorra Compacta with its heavily branched, low spreading growth habit with dense coverage makes it one of the best junipers for mass plantings.
Uses
Andorra Compacta is excellent for use in groupings, low shrub borders, mass plantings, erosion control on slight slopes, and for underplanting Japanese Maples, Crape Myrtles, and other trees.
Culture & Care Tips
Andorra Compacta is very easy to grow and is very low maintenance; requiring no pruning unless to maintain a shape. It adapts to a wide variety of soils provided they are well-drained. It prefers full sun to mostly sun.
