Noteworthy Characteristics

Spring and fall bring masses of bright yellow flowers however you can expect flowering almost all year in Zones 9 and further south on this tropical shrub. The flowers are highly attractive to butterflies so it's an excellent selection for butterfly gardens. Thryallis is a very good candidate for low maintenance landscapes. It is very easy to grow, drought resistant, prefering dry, sandy soil. Its maximum height is about 6 feet though can be trimmed to a much lower height, making it a very versatile landscape plant.
