Noteworthy Characteristics
An profusion of beautiful, large, double, 2" orange flowers from late winter into early spring. Fragrant, aromatic fruits in fall are also attractive, and edible, but the fruits are quite sour to the taste buds.

Culture & Care Tips
Quince are not too picky about soil top provided there is good drainage. Grows best in full sun but will tolerate and appreciate some afternoon shade in hotter climates of the South. Water as needed to keep soil moist but not soggy wet during the first year. After that, quince are quite drought tolerant so will only require supplemental irrigation during prolonged periods of summer dry weather.
