San Jose Juniper is noted for its striking green foliage, beautiful bark, and juniper berries during the summer months. For those of you that grow bonsai San Jose is the perfect specimen plant.
Uses
Best used as a single specimen bonsai, in groupings, shrub borders, mass plantings, home foundation plantings, for erosion control on slopes and embankments, container gardens, and asian theme gardens.
Culture & Care Tips
San Jose is very easy to grow and maintain. Drought tolerant. Very little pruning required unless used for bonsai. Adapts to a wide variety of soils provided they are well-drained. Prefers full sun to mostly sun.
