Noteworthy Characteristics
The large-flowered Merrit's Supreme Hydrangea is a vigorous grower offering mophead-type clusters of true pink flowers in summer. Flower color depends on soil pH. In alkaline soil the blooms are pink and in acidic soil blue. The prolific blooms appear on compact, bushy plants with glossy deep green leaves. This is a great cultivar for garden beds or container culture.
