Additional Information About Russian Rhapsody Daylily

Hemerocallis X Hybrida 'Russian Rhapsody' is a moderate growing perennial plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 4A through 10B. It matures to an average height of 2 feet to 4 feet and an average width of 2 feet to 4 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun or morning sun with afternoon shade and grows best when planted in sand, loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained. In the summer and fall Russian Rhapsody Daylily produces yellow and violet flowers. The foliage is dark green in color. It attracts butterflies and visual attention and is resistant to drought, insects, diseases, mildew and heat.

Russian Rhapsody Daylily can be useful in the landscape in mass plantings, in containers or planters, as a border or edger, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, as an accent, as a groundcover, in landscape beds or islands, in small groupings or in medians and also in theme gardens, cottage gardens, butterfly gardens or perennial gardens.
