More about Dorsett Gold Apple...

Dorsett Gold is a great choice for warmer climates as it requires less than 100 chill hours although it does well down to zone 4A. The low chill hour requirement makes it a very early season producer. The flesh of this apple is firm, sweet and slightly tart,  comparable to the Golden Delicious. This cultivar was developed in 1954 and comes from the Bahamas.
