Prunus Persica 'Red Haven ' is a moderate growing tree, fruit bearing plant and perennial plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 5A through 7B. It matures to an average height of 15 feet to 20 feet and an average width of 15 feet to 20 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun and grows best when planted in sand or loam soil that is well drained. In the spring Red Haven Peach Tree produces pink flowers. The foliage is medium green in color. It attracts butterflies, visual attention and songbirds / birds and is resistant to drought and heat. If you like fragrance, Prunus Persica 'Red Haven ' has fragrant flowers.

Redhaven has medium sized round fruit with olden-yellow skin with attractive red blush. Non-browning, sweet yellow flesh is firm and smooth textured. Excellent for canning, freezing, and fresh eating. Redhaven is the standard by which all early peaches are judged. The tree is vigorous and early bearing. 950 hours. Self-fertile. USDA Zones 5a-9a.
