A 1995, MIssissippi State University - ARS/USDA release, Jubilee Southern Highbush blueberry has a vigorous, upright growth habit, and has deep, dark green foliage, making it very good for ornamental purposes. It has also shown an increased tolerance to 'heavier' soils. Jubilee is a Mid-season ripening Southern Highbush (but still typically ripens 8-12 days before the earliest ripening Rabbiteye varieties) that produces big yields of medium size berries, with a fresh, sweet flavor, good color, and a small, dry stem scar.
