More about 'Southland' Rabbiteye Blueberry...

Southland rabbiteye blueberry has a compact, upright growth habit with dense foliage, that usually remains on the bush (to some degree) in shades of orange and red, even throughout the Winter months. It ripens in mid-late season, and does so over a long, extended period of time. The berries of Southland are large in numbers and in size, and tend to be sweeter than other mid-season rabbiteye varieties. They also tend to be found in higher concentrations on the interior of the bush, which makes Southland much more conducive to hand-picking, and right up the home gardener's alley.
