A1985, University of Georgia release, Baldwin rabbiteye blueberry has a fairly vigorous, upright growth habit. It ripens late, and the period of time in which it ripens is typically lengthy. Baldwin has demonstrated good yields, and it produces medium-large size berries with dry stem scars, good flavor, and firmness. Probably the most unique feature of the Baldwin blueberry is its color, which is notably very dark blue - and likely the darkest blue of all the rabbiteye varieties.
