Eucalyptus Pulverulenta 'Bluey' is a fast growing tree that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 5B through 11. It matures to an average height of 12 feet to 15 feet and an average width of 20 feet to 30 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun, morning sun with afternoon shade or morning shade with afternoon sun and grows best when planted in sand, loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained. In the summer Eucalyptus Pulverulenta 'Bluey' produces white flowers. The foliage is medium green in color.
Eucalyptus Pulverulenta 'Bluey' can be useful in the landscape along woodland borders, in mass plantings, as a buffer or screen, in containers or planters, as a border or edger, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, as an accent, in hanging baskets, to provide shade or grown flat against a wall and also in rock or xeriscape gardens, theme gardens or perennial gardens.
