Additional Information About Elfin Creeping Thyme

It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun and grows best when planted in sand, loam or silt soil that is well drained. The foliage is grey / silver in color. It attracts butterflies and visual attention and is resistant to deer, drought, insects, foot traffic and heat.

Elfin Creeping Thyme can be useful in the landscape in containers or planters, as a border or edger, as a groundcover or between stepping stones and pavers and also in rock or xeriscape gardens or theme gardens.

More About Elfin Thyme...

One from our 'Toe Tickler' collection, 'Elfin' is one of the best of the creeping aromatic evergreen thymes. In summer, pretty, tiny lavender flowers nearly cover the groundhugging mats of foliage that grow to about 1 or 2 inches in height.

Elfin Thyme is easy to grow in the right conditions. It grows best in light, dry, well-drained soil and full sun. A little shade is okay.

Elfin forms a dense mat making it an excellent selection as a groundcover.  It is also ideal for planting between the gaps of stepping or paving stones.
