More About Persian Chocolate Creeping Jenny...Lysimachia congestiflora 'Persian Chocolate', commonly known as moneywort or creeping jenny, is a semi-evergreen groundcover displaying striking, chocolate-purple hued small leaves topped with masses of bright yellow spring flowers. It's low, spreading form to 2" height makes it a fantastic groundcover, even on extremely steep slopes. The vigorous plant quicky forms a 3-foot plus wide mat in one season, but is not an invasive. It's also a nice addition to container gardens and hanging baskets.
