Noteworthy Characteristics
The first of the Play it Again Collection of Crape Myrtles, Rhapsody in pink is one of the few that re-blooms on the same panicles throughout the summer and well in to the fall season. The new foliage growth is nearly purple and provides excellent contrast with the elegant soft pink flower clusters creating a distintly unique appearance.
Uses
Rhapsody in Pink is a semi-dwarf Crape Myrtle making it a great selection for planting in small groupings, as a single tree form focal specimen, along driveways or property lines, or as a colorful screen or hedge. Crape Myrtle trees are also nice on the corners to frame in homes and other structures or on either side of an entryway.
