More about 'Columbus' Rabbiteye Blueberry...

A 2002, North Carolina State University release, Columbus is one of the newer Rabbiteye blueberry introductions, and ripens mid-late season (typically a few days earlier than Powderblue and Tifblue). It is high yielding, and its fruit has an excellent, distinctly sweet flavor. The overall quality of the Columbus blueberries is judged by many to be among the best - and it has demonstrated excellent shelf-life characteristics, as well.
