'Major Wheeler' is hands down the best red flowering trumpet honeysuckle we've grown in our nursery and our gardens. Unlike other red honeysuckles, the foliage of Major Wheeler is mildew-free! But the great attributes don't stop there. Abundant dangling clusters of radiant-red trumpet-shaped flowers appear in spring and continue all the way until the end of summer, contrasting wonderfully with the deep blue-green foliage. Grows most quickly in full sun howerver will tolerate some light shade.

Perfect to quickly cover Arbors & Arches, Fences, Mailbox, Pergolas, Posts, Rails, Trellises & Partitions and any other structure.
