Noteworthy Characteristics
Sunset Yellow is a mid-size tropical Hibiscus with large, bright yellow flowers. The vibrant flowers are born year round and are a nice contrast to the dark green foliage. Excellent for containers or beds.
Uses
Where hardy outdoors, Sunset Yellow Tropical Hibiscus is useful as an eyecatching specimen shrub or small tree to highlight entryways, as a colorful hedge, espalier to cover bare walls such as the spaces between windows, and makes for an exceptionally nice container plant. Where not winter hardy, it can be used outdoors as an annual in beds or as a container plant that can be overwintered indoors or in a greenhouse when low temperatures drop below 55 degrees.
