Juniperus Virginiana 'Taylor' is a moderate growing tree and cone bearing plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 4A through 9B. It matures to an average height of 15 feet to 20 feet and an average width of 3 feet to 4 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun and grows best when planted in sand, loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained. The foliage is blue green in color. It attracts visual attention and is resistant to deer, drought, insects, diseases and heat. If you like fragrance, Juniperus Virginiana 'Taylor' has fragrant foliage.

Culture

Taylor Juniper is easy to grow and very low maintenance. It prefers full sun and is not picky about soil type or pH as long as the soil is well-drained. It is tolerant of dry soil, drought, salt, and windy sites. It never requires pruning unless used in large pots or for topiary.
