Red Star Cordyline, commonly known as the cabbage palm is a striking foliage plant with its long, thin, arching, bronze-red leaves. As a smaller cultivar of the species, it does particularly well in pots on a patio, though it can also be used as a accent in landscape and garden beds. If you're above USDA Zone 9, it's best to grow this one in a pot that can be brought indoors when temperatures drop below freezing. Great for tropical gardens or in containers out by the pool and other outdoor living areas.
